HOW IT WORKS
Horizontal boreholes between two excavated holes are dug using pneumatic moling units, that displace the soil in front of them with powerful, repeated hammerings. Two square holes of approximately 2 metres deep are dug with one the starting hole through which the moling unit is inserted, the other hole serves as the exit hole through which the mole will resurface. Once the mole has completed the established route the water main is pulled through.
